Value

Because I’ve known despair

I value hope

Because I have know what the taste of frustration is

I value fulfillment

Because I have once been lonely

I value love

Because I have known Disappointment

I value acceptance

 

P e r h a p s ?

Perhaps we only leave so that we may once again arrive

To get a bird’s eye view of what it means to be alive

 For there is beauty in returning. 

How wonderful, how strange, 

to see that everything is not the same  

but know its only you who’s changed

Perhaps it’s just the exceptions 

perhaps it’s just your mind

Perhaps it’s just that your blind

Future Days

In future days there will be happiness 

The word pain will be unknown

looking in the eyes of a lover where you’ll tell me about your passions 

tell me what makes you tick

tell me all the things you’ve discovered about yourself

Why do you do the things you do, and how did you get to be such a beautiful creature ?

I want to get to know you

So I can justify this love i already feel for you.
