The British caught me.
I’ve been sent to St. Helena, forced to live here for the rest of my life.
My stomach’s killing me. The doctor says I have cancer.
It doesn’t matter though. I’m forced here now.
I might as well rot and die.
“Bury me on the banks of the Seine, among the French people I have loved so much.”
