Im Gonna be a Star

After marriage, I was hired to work in a parachute factory

There I was noticed by a photographer, David Conover & that is when my career began

Jim wanted me to give up this career

But growing up all I wanted to be was a star

“ I didn’t care about the money I just wanted to be wonderful.”

And so I filed a divorce

“ I knew I belonged to the public and to the world

not because I was talented or even beautiful

but because I never had belonged to anything or anyone else.”
